SG120: Operating Systems

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of operating systems. In this course, students will study the layout and design of two or more operating systems and be able to document how they differ from each other.Topics include the basic design and implementation of operating systems, including storage, addressing, security, and IO interactions. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to describe the basic components of an operating system and tell how such a system is constructed.
