This course requires students to use conceptual reasoning with regard to the fundamental principles of science; Newton’s laws of force and motion, Newton’s laws of universal gravitation, and laws of thermodynamics. Upon completion of this course students should be able to solve problems dealing with equilibrium, momentum, and energy, fluid mechanics, thermal energy, light and sounds waves. This course requires a research paper and/or project.
