INT101: Design Graphics and Color Theory

This course will introduce students to drawing methods, materials, and tools with a concentration on schematic sketches and quick renderings using value, color, and textures.Topics include freehand drawing with pencil and marker, still and life drawing, perspective theory, shade and shadow, and Munsell and Pantone color ordering systems. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to perceive and define colors, spectral content, contrast, saturation, hue, and brightness; produce freehand still and life drawings; produce freehand interior and exterior perspective sketches and illustrate material textures and depth.
