SG210: Fundamentals of Game Engine Development
Prerequisite(s): CS220, SG110

This course presents students with an opportunity to develop a basic 3D game engine that can be used for writing simple 2D and 3D games. This course provides a foundation for more advanced engine and game development. Topics include fundamental 2D and 3D game engine concepts such as sprite animation, player input, textures, lighting, materials, hierarchical models and cameras. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to understand how a game engine works with the underlying PC or console hardware and provides a platform upon which game logic
is implemented.
