GD311: Digital Production Techniques for Print
Prerequisite(s): GD131

In this course, students will be introduced to various advanced typographic styles and design elements, advanced layout and prepress techniques.Topics covered include designing with type, forming concepts that produce layouts with impact, creating a visual hierarchy, and identifying current production and pre-press standards. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to create, layout, and bring through to production projects utilizing advanced typographic and design theory.
