This course provides students with an insider’s look at the fashion industry.Topics include the history, nature, and globalization of the industry in wholesale and retail aspects, including how fashions begin, move and disseminate, and how they are predicted and created. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to identify basic terminology of the fashion industry, cite names of key individuals who influenced the industry, and analyze current developments in the industry in light of its history.
