EBM100: Trends in Electronic Business

This course introduces students to the rapidly changing world of electronic business. Topics include an introduction to web concepts and terminology, a comparison between traditional and web based businesses, and the effect of the web on contemporary business strategies and practices. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to define and explain the basic technology of an ebusiness, articulate management issues relevant to e-business, evaluate an e-business web site, and provide examples of theimpact of web technology on contemporary business.
