History of the World Wide Web: Tim Berners-Lee
Consider the following questions as you are conducting your research:
1. Biography of Tim Berners-Lee: Who is he? What is his background? He has had a number of significant accomplishments in his career (also consider awards and publications), describe several and their significance to Web design.
2. What was Berners-Lee vision of the World Wide Web? Has the development of the Web over the last decade lived up to his vision? Why or why not?
3. Provide a brief history of the Internet. Who were a couple of the major contributors and what were their contributions (consider individuals as well as organizations or other groups)?
