This course provides skills in telephone techniques, setting appointments, record keeping, and professional conduct. Topics include patient scheduling, receiving phone calls, letter typing, chart coding, standard filing methods, and manuscript preparation. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to collate patient charts, create and annotate appointment schedules, complete patient registration, transcribe handwritten notes and reports, and create letters for a variety of medical situations.
