Westwood College Online Library: APA Format


The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition, specifies document layout, titles, word choice, and the format for citing sources in the text and on a Reference list at the end of your document. Please check with your instructor for any specific requirements.

There are many guides to APA Format, but not all of them have been updated to the 6th Edition. In fact, the Word 2007 "References" feature will incorrectly format APA citations (as of January 2010). The links below are updated to 6th edition specifications.
